October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and this year's theme is "Access to Good Jobs For All." Good jobs change lives, and all workers—including workers with disabilities—deserve the opportunity to prepare for, obtain, and succeed in them.
DSC’s Employment Program offers services to support individual community employment opportunities. The focus of this program includes securing and maintaining a job in which the person receives the support needed for success. Opportunities are customized for each person’s unique interests, talents, and abilities.
In the past year, people were employed at 52 different businesses in the community. We are thankful to our local businesses that have embraced our mission to support people in living a rich and meaningful life.
